This morning I realized that I have been waking up earlier than usual, and I went out in the yard to the nice cool, almost fall weather. It feels so much better than the hot, humid, rainy weather we had all summer.
I felt like I could accomplish so much more, getting up early and getting outside in the morning.
While sorting papers today, I found this part of an article that I had cut out of a magazine.
Early in the morning,
it's the start of a new day.
New hopes, new dreams, new ways.
I open up my eyes and I open up my mind and
I wonder how life will surprise me today.
I used to get up and out much earlier than I do now. When I quit smoking 11 years ago, I started staying in bed longer. My husband is a late riser, and I tend to not get up if he doesn't.

Glad you are feeling energized with the cooler weather. I feel fall in the air here as well, even though September is usually warm and dry in Rocky Point
