Remember that when you leave this Earth, you can take with you nothing that you have received, only what you have given, a full heart enriched by honest service, love, sacrifice and courage. -St. Francis of Assisi

The Fujifilm camera makes movies, too
I had a hard time holding the camera steady in the wind,
but the wind did not seem to bother this guy.
The Great Blue Heron.
These birds like to position themselves just a few yards
behind a fisherman, hoping to steal a "just caught" fish.
Your new camera takes very nice pictures and video too. Looks like a keeper. I don't know about the Fujifilm cameras, but my little Canon point & shoot takes better pictures if I use one of the "scene" settings. It does OK on auto, but the pictures can look a little washed out. Of course a graphics program can fix that easily.
That Fujifilm did a fine job on the video. Wind noises are almost impossible to stop unless you can mute. My Fujifilm mic picks up the sound of the camera constantly focusing.
Great picture and video, Teri. A heron frequently visits my pond, but I can get no where, nor zoom no where, close enough for such a nice shot. Your photo reminded me of a new DVD I saw the other day, "The Big Year." It was sweet and interesting and much better than I expected! You might enjoy it, too. :)
Very nice job in the wind Teri.

ReplyDeleteDon't you just love that the digital still cameras also take video now days? You don't have to carry two cameras when you are out in nature.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the video and watching the waves. Reminded me of home.
ReplyDeleteI can take video but I can't seem to down load them on my blog. Need to see about that soon.
ReplyDeleteHeading for the RV Park where Susan is Wed.

ReplyDeleteThat is a great video. The wind wasn't a problem at all. You got some nice footage.
