Remember that when you leave this Earth, you can take with you nothing that you have received, only what you have given, a full heart enriched by honest service, love, sacrifice and courage. -St. Francis of Assisi

Attitude

This blog and all of the wonderful feedback has motivated me to get moving.  I want my house sold and to be on the road before the next winter in Chicago.  I have spent too much time sitting around and feeling sorry for myself. I have been sorting and purging this morning. I have tons of little quotes and notes, etc. I'm going to post some of them here before throwing them away, that way I can go back and read them without having a lot of clutter.

Attitude
by Charles Swindoll

The longer I live
the more I realize
the impact of attitude on my life.
Attitude to me,
is more important than facts.
It is more important than the past,
than education, than money, than circumstances
than failures, than what other people say or do.
It is more important than appearance,
giftedness or skill.
It will make or break a company..a church..a home.
The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday
regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.
We cannot change our past...
we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certian way.
We cannot change the inevitable.
The only thing we can do is play on the string we have,
and that is our attitude....
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me
and 90% how I react to it.
And so it is with you...
We are in charge of our attitude.

Enjoy your Day, Teri
