Remember that when you leave this Earth, you can take with you nothing that you have received, only what you have given, a full heart enriched by honest service, love, sacrifice and courage. -St. Francis of Assisi

On a bright, clear day in 2007
 downtown Chicago

(now called the Willis Tower)

Sears Tower

108 story    1451' tall skyscraper
When completed in 1973
it was the tallest building in the World
and held this title for nearly 25 years

  1. Neat pictures. Downtown Chicago is one place I will never see along with all those places people hike way up to. So it's always a good thing when others take pictures for me.

  2. That's a great picture of a great city!

  3. I think you're teasing me for next week.

  4. I've never been to downtown Chicago either and am unlikely to go so thanks for the views. I'm envious of your pictures so well organized you can find things from 2007. I don't think I'd stand a chance.

  5. WOW! For someone from a town whose tallest building is 18 stories (212 feet), those buildings are monstrous!

  6. Great photos. But, at first, I thought....what is she doing in Chicago!!
