Remember that when you leave this Earth, you can take with you nothing that you have received, only what you have given, a full heart enriched by honest service, love, sacrifice and courage. -St. Francis of Assisi

Destiny

What do you think?

It's choice - not chance
that determines your destiny.

-or-

Some believe that our future is predetermined
and it does not matter what we do - because,
we will end up where we are supposed to be.

  1. I think it's both. What we do with what we get. Seeing the opportunities and making the most of them. Also - seeing the risks and figuring out which actions are too risky and which are worth it.

  2. How about this? What if we choose our path to our Destiny and that outcome can be predetermined. However, we have the power to "CHANGE" our path towards our Destiny any time we like... which in turn changes our predetermined Destiny.

Fate is to be tampered with.
    Choose choice not fate.

Abandoning the responsibility to choose invites the possibility of other influences to decide over your life with often unpleasant consequences.

  3. I would choose my destiny if I had the courage to do so. As it is I'm subject to the whims of my husband. It is my own weakness that keeps me here.

  4. I think more choice than chance...we figure out what we want to do and then do what we need to get there.
