Remember that when you leave this Earth, you can take with you nothing that you have received, only what you have given, a full heart enriched by honest service, love, sacrifice and courage. -St. Francis of Assisi

Making Decisions

I seem to be procrastinating alot, and wasting time.
I have been having a hard time making decisons.

Today, I did it. I made several decisions to get moving on this journey of RVing.  I decided on the RV that I am going to buy. I have talked with the salesman several times since last Sunday, a $500.00 deposit will hold it until I can get there to check it out and test drive it. I feel very peaceful with this decision, its hard to describe, I don't feel anxious at all. The price is good, its low miles, and they are going to add some items I have asked about. I have some prior committments out of town and won't be able to go to the RV dealer until May 25th. I am meeting my daughter in Texas on June 1st, so I will pick up the RV and my first trip will be to Texas.

6 weeks countdown.....................

I cancelled some memberships and subscriptions that are unnecessary. I am consolidating checking accounts, and eliminating paperwork.

I will probably sell my house to an investor, if we can agree on a price.  I don't want to spend any time and money fixing it up to get it ready to sell. I won't have to deal with real estate agents and buyers. My husband was ill for several years and some maintenance issues were not taken care of - also, I have an old kitchen. I like my kitchen, but todays buyers want a showcase house. The investor can fix it up and resell it.

  1. Good decisions you're making for yourself. I can see where you feel some peacefulness about them. I hope your siblings are supportive of your new lifestyle. That I am sure would be icing on the cake. Take care...

  6. Yippee!!! Congrats to you Teri!. I usually procrastinate decisions until I'm almost crazy (or crazier) then when I do make a decision (sometimes it's just not to make a decision) I feel light and clarity. Can't wait to hear more about your new RV. Dad will get by with other help, at least for a while. Besides you're mobile and can go when needed. I am Happy for you.
